I am a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the American Diabetes Association. My volunteer work consists of sending packages overseas to our active duty military and helping out families of deployed soldiers here is the US. I walk in the America's Walk for Diabetes every year and raise money for research to find a cure for diabetes. I have 2 Siberian Huskies named Thunder and Storm and cannot wait to get more! I help out with Siberian Husky rescue organizations by doing home checks for potential adoptive families and helping with transports from kill shelters to foster homes until they can be adopted to a forever home.
