I am a self-employed programmer and consultant. I work from my home providing tech support services for a couple of different companies. I am single (never married), straight, and have no kids. I'm not actively seeking a long-term relationship, but who knows what the future may hold!

I am a very straightforward and honest person. I have neither the time nor the energy to engage in any of the "drama" and all that other childish crap that seems so prevalent in the online environment. If you have a question about me, ask me. I may choose not to answer but, if I do answer, I won't blow smoke up your ass, and I won't be offended just because you asked. If I should become upset with you, I will tell you so, and why, right then and there. I do not play any of those passive-aggressive "Guess why I'm angry with you" games.

I will not say anything to you in fubar that I would not say to you in person, and I expect you to treat me the same way.

About friend requests:

I don't care how much, if any, of my stuff you rate or how you rate it. That is completely irrelevant. If you haven't actually spoken with me (via shouts, email, or whatever), the chance that I will accept your friend request is very, very slim. I neither send nor accept friend requests just to get points. I will not ask you to become my friend just because I want to see your NSFW stuff, neither will I pay you anything (fu-bucks, blasts, or whatever) to see it. The way I figure it, if you really want me to look at that, you will offer me that privilege of your own volition.

About the shout box:

The shout box sucks. It is cranky, slow, unreliable, and difficult to use. I do not mind receiving shouts, though, and unless it's just something rude, stupid, or pointless, I will answer your shout when I see it. I try to keep my fubar status accurate -- if I'm showing as "Online", I am literally here and watching what's going on in both my bar tab and my shout box. If I should ask if you would like to use either Yahoo or MSN to chat, it's not because I'm trying to persuade you to cam with me or anything like that. It's just that for a serious conversation, those other messengers work a hell of a lot better than the "shout bot".

About profile comments:

I try to keep my homepage as clean and uncluttered as possible. I hate pages that take forever to load because they are full of embedded crap that, in most cases, says little if anything about the owner. I do appreciate comments, and I do allow my friends to post HTML comments. Don't be offended if I delete your comments, though. It's nothing personal (if I have a problem with your comment, I will tell you!), I'm just keeping my homepage clean.

About rating your stuff:

If you do not have a salute or actually say anything real about yourself on your homepage, I probably will not rate your profile. If I rate a photo at all, it gets a 10. If I really like a photo, it gets an 11. Salute photos always get 11s -- it has nothing to do with your appearance, only the fact that you have the guts to register a salute. I don't really care whether or not you "return the love" if I rate, fan, and/or comment you. I appreciate it when you do, but I'm not going to give you any grief if you choose not to.
