I'm only interesting if you enjoy the company of literary alchoholic types.
I'm 23. The top five things I don't have in my life that I'd like (in no particular order) are:
1. More worthwhile friends 2. A girlfriend 3. My master's degree 4. More time for reading and writing books 5. A decent big kid job in my field.
I'm a brooding college graduate from middle America. I'm not actively working on any books or comics, but I am getting some poems together to submit to several literary magazines after being published for the first time this year (the poems that were accepted are actually in my blog on this site). I'm also still working on a few video game concepts and my fourth collection of poems is... still on hiatus.
People either love me or ignore me entirely, there doesn't seem to be much of a middle ground, and most people are in the second category. If you find me fascinating: thumbs up. Read my blog for some of my work, discuss with your friends, engage me in conversation. If not, I can't be bothered.
There's a good chance that if you have heard of it, I've played it, and an even stronger chance that if you haven't heard of it, I've played it.

... I pretty much hate ALL music that has been released by new artists. IE ... Anyone you listen to. That means I hate: New R+B New "emo" "screamo" "punk" ... it's all one thing people TWEEN POP! And it is the FURTHEST thing from punk. Don't kid yourselves. ... It's boybands all over again with fucking instruments. New rock is ... softy wimpery bullshit like those queefs Hinder and Nickelback. New "rap" and "hip hop" and "reggae" are all this weird perversion of dance repetitive thump music or self-praising prattle and pissing contests. Country by default... yuck.
Fuck's sake, what happened to music being an art form?
So... yeah, I guess that means I'm not "hip". Sorry for enjoying artists and performers that can write their own songs, perform live, invent, and produce consistently with "talent".
If you don't want me bitching about how much YOUR music makes me want to put a nailgun to my head, please don't engage me in the topic.
