Okay, Here You Go! I am a 40-year-old man from Mississippi. I am searching for those special people who are looking for other good people to be friends with. I am not seeking romance. My life is really not conducive to that kind of relationship. And anyway, I am used to being single. And there are advantages to that! ;-) You all know what I mean. I have a wonderful sense of humor and a nice personality which I would love to be able to share with someone. I am a quadriplegia but that is not what defines me as a person! I will tell you that I have been handicapped since I was 18 when I was in a diving accident in 1985, which left me completely paralyzed from the neck down. I had finished my freshman year at Jones Jr. College where I played football. But, I had my accident a few weeks before I was to return for my sophomore year. However, after rehab, I finished college and became a special education teacher for almost nine years. That should show another attribute: Patience! Of course, I cannot take full credit for this! I have a wonderful supportive family and a deep faith in God who plays a large part in my life. But do not get me wrong. I have a wonderful sense of humor (Even a little naughty humor is fun!). I do not know how anyone can go through life without a good belly laugh! Laughter is the cure for everything. And if it is not, it sure makes going through life much more bearable! :-) I love those people who are willing to look past my condition and give me a chance to share my personality. Like I said, I am looking for friends. You never can have to many. I have a couple of special friends. But life is all about meeting new people so I look forward to hearing from you.
