My wife died in 2000, my son is grown and living in Denver. Despite these things I have had a good life. Fate and a couple of court cases conspired to allow me to live what some people call a life of leisure. I enjoy that, it's good. It's mainly a way for me to grow in experience without working for someone else.

I won't lie. This profile is my way of weaning myself, slowly but surely, to a full-time offline life. But there's some people I want to get to know and maybe meet in person along the way. So here we are.

As for who I want to meet - - I'm picky, but my tastes are very simple. I find I'm quite satisfied with the absolute best.

I write for a magazine published on the east coast. I'm posting blogs that I published in a previous profile and that I have, or will, submit for publication. I might slide a new one in occassionally just to keep my writing chops up to par.
