My friends call me by my middle name, John. I go by my first name at work, which is Alex. I'm going to be right out front with it and say, I'm a bit of a nerd. I guess it goes with the territory since I worked at an electronics store. I am shy and can be a bit of a loner. But on the other hand I can be loud and enthusiastic about many things. I am also a romantic, which is possibly why I am currently alone. I tend to overanalyze things and forget that sometimes its really simple. I am a former marine and being a marine I don't tend to tolerate other people's b.s. I have a code of honor. If I feel that someone has violated it, I get deeply offended. This includes: lying, cheating, stealing and abuse of women. I am also chivalrous, which I think goes hand in hand with being romantic. Above all else, I am a gentleman. I like going out as much as staying in. I have a huge movie collection and I have my own little private movie theater in my living room with a 65" HD big screen TV, 1000W 7.1 surround sound and two very comfortable reclining leather chairs. I recently moved to South Korea. It's an interesting place filled with many nice people. I am still looking for a job and I am planning on taking Korean so I can understand what they are all saying. I use to be a beta-tester for ID Software and 3d Realms. So I really like games from those companies. My all time favorites are the Doom Series, Half-Life Series, Duke Nukem 3d, F.E.A.R., Civilization Series, Master of Orion 1 & 2, Star Trek: Birth of the Federation.
