Well, lets see. Turned the big 40 in January. Hatched in montebello california so i'm proud to say i'm a SoCal native...and lived in whittier,la mirada, and la habra growing up in SoCal back in the good ole days before it turned into the cess pool it is these days. I can remember the silmar quake of 72...and getting dirty looks for trying to play pool in a pool hall in garbage grove. Graduated LHHS in 85 with honors...go figure as i spent a lot of time in the park smoking weed. Joined the army on the delayed entry program in 84...and went straight in after graduation. Did basic at Fort lost in the woods in MO...and AIT for 63B10 at Fort Jackson SC.From there it was straight to west germany for a tad over 3 years to finish out my active time and the cold war. I'll never forget the song "The final countdown" by Europe as i was in the airport in philly getting ready to fly over when the shuttle blew up....
After europe i came home to SoCal and could not stand the crowding that had developed so i headed to phx in oct of 89 and stayed there till may of 2002. And damn...i still miss the place.
Well hell...finally gettin off my ass and finishing this thing up....lets see...oh ya...got married in 2001....camryn was born in sept of 02...and finally justin came to us in march of 05....so we have the typical US family...complete with patch our jack russel terrorist....
As you can tell i work in the oilfields aka Patch. I tend to be out and gone alot...but the money is good so i don't mind...hence the new house on 5 acres and the new truck...etc. I am currently drillin in parachute coloardo which is a 50 mile trip from the house....but the office has been threatin gamma work in utah or new mexico and pulse work in north dakota...so who knows from well to well where i'll end up.
So your married? Why are you here? The same reason you are....to make some good friends to share my time with while i'm out in the patch. As an em hand i have alot of free time on my hands...so the net...sat dish cooperating...is a great way to spend some time makin new friends whith similiar intrests to chat with. I am not here to weaze and skeeze...got my own family and my own problems...don't need anymore. If i was single and lookin i'd say what gets my attention is usually a female with long hair....don't know why...just drives me nuts. I like any other male also love a voluptous woman....but when it all boils down to what happens after the attraction portion of the event i'd like to think personality and who she is is more important in the long run than looks which will fade in time...although i have seen a few dolls on her that just bust that idea all to pieces...lol.
Speaking of friends...this last sunday and not to mention any names...i got to sit here and watch the race (nascar-go jr!) and i also got the special treat of yahoo'n back and forth with a new friend from here during the race...ain't life grand?!
So i guess other than my wierd hobby of tracking spanish trail markers (see on the hunt photo file) i'm pretty much just an average joe!

Umm....well i'm kinda stuck in the 80's...but i'm slowly pullin outa of it just a bit with some recent musical finds thanx to myspace. But i am mainly stuck in the good ole hair metal days and enjoy finding a new album from a back in the day band like the scorps new offering last year...a song of theirs really takes me back (Winds Of Change) as i was stationed in west germany when the wall came down...and then there's songs like Europe's (Final CountDown) when the space shuttle blew up in 86...i still can remember that day as i was in the airport in philly gettin ready to fly out to west germany for my first assignment on active duty. While in germany i saw a lot of good concerts....Dio (sacred heart) Maiden (somewhere in time) Deep Purple (house of the blue light)....and many more that alcohol and time have erased from my memory....lol.
So i guess i'll try to compile a list of the bands i like here and keep adding to it as time goes by...feel free to drop me a line if there is something you think i need to take a listen to...
