i'm a musician from No. Hollywood, CA. ~ i started playing piano at age 5 and picked up the guitar at 10. i use ESP, Charvel and custom designed guitars. Soldano and Marshall amplifiers. CGX expander unit, JBL speakers, Seymour Duncan pick-ups, Floyd Rose locking nut. Roland and Moog synthesyzers. Dean Markley and GHS Boomer strings. ~ i get asked alot how i get such a killer tone...well here it is... it's really not that complex, each processor or pedal has one specific function~at the center of my sound i run 4 Marshall JCM900 (100watt Hi gain/dual reverb) heads which are tricked out by using oversized transformers and smaller sized tubes which has all the tone and signal routing for my effects which are routed without losing signal quality by the CGX Expander, it allows me to run multiple effects, channel switching and midi patch changes all at once which gives me 8 seperate effects loops~i run my guitar via cable to the CGX unit from here my chorus, octave and ADA flanger are run into loops for effect on/off control which are in front of the Marshall amps and through the switch box to a filter and juice extracter and then into a rack of 4 Soldano SLO-100 watt heads~the effects send is sent to the input of my Alesis Comp/Gate then to a Yamaha SPX-90 which returns to a Lexicon delay~the output of the delay is then routed back to the effects return of the Marshall rack~now here is another one of my tricks~i wrap my pick-ups(i don't count how many times, i just eyeball them)and dip them in parafin wax~this keeps the coil from vibrating, which causes feedback~ my webpage (formerly LightSpeed Productions) is now Vonstolle Custom Designs is at http://www.geocities.com/vonstolle/vonstolle.html ~ i would like to thank Waldo's Music - Hollywood, CA. Don Weir's Music City - San Francisco, CA. Ray Goldberg's Bizarre Guitar - Reno, NV. Bob Turner's Bizarre Guitar - Phoenix AZ. (Mike, Stewart & Brandon) u dudes rock!!

Megadeth, Pantera, Motley Crue, Yngwie(arpeggios from hell)Malmsteen, early Metalica with Dave Mustaine, LynchMob and early Van Halen just for the starters~early influences were Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck. I picked up the guitar at age 10 and played alot of early Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Rush. When Eddie Van Halen came out in '78' the tone was set for us six-stringers. But these days, a dying breed we are, shredding lead guitar riff playing players seem to no longer exist. But we're a dime a dozen in the los angeles area. The last serious band i was in featured Johnny Porter(formerly of Testament) who mastered us in the studio. We were allotted $10,000 to record and produce ten originals. We hired Dean Valletti for an agent and spent the rest on drugs, needless to say we never got launched.. I stole alot of riffs from Warren Di Martini of Ratt and Stevie Vai over the years but i'd like to thank Tony MacAlpine and Pat Travers for much influence and inspiration. i get told that i sound too much like George Lynch but i always say he sounds like me~ honestly i try to sound like Marty Friedman but is very hard to do so he fuckin shreds~ other favorites are; Randy Rhodes, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Ronnie Montrose, Vinnie Moore, Zakk Wylde, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Jerry Riggs, Rick Derringer, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, Chris Impeliteri, Michael Schekner, Matias Jabs and Steve Stevens. New upcoming bands i like are: Heroin Diaries, Brides Of Destruction, Racer X, Killswitch Engage, Nonpoint, Atreyu, Hatebreed, Bury Your Dead, Static-X, As I Lay Dying, Children Of Bodom, Everytime I Die, Norma Jean, Darkest Hour, Powerman5000, Eighteen Visions, Bullet For My Valentine, Element Eighty, Foo Fighters, Nickleback, Goo Goo Dolls, Blink 182(not very good live, but excellent in the studio), Mudvayne, Marylin Manson, AFI, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Puddle Of Mudd, The All-American Rejects and these kids i saw in Reno that were from Sacramento called Track Fighter and Escape The Fate who i seen at 'The Alley' rock shop in Las Vegas, NV.(these kids fuckin rock) ~ Country styles include: Keith Urban, Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Gretchen Wilson, Shania Twain and Miranda Lambert. ~ Classical category is: Mozart and Chopan~ RIP Dimebag Darrell Abbott ~
